Rakeeba matriculated at Uitenhage Secondary School in Uitenhage and
went on to graduate from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson
Mandela Metropolitan University) in 2001.
She completed her articles at a Port Elizabeth based law firm in 2004 and remained practicing as a director from 2006 until she joined Joubert Galpin Searle in August 2010.
Rakeeba specializes in personal injury litigation and her current practice sees her focusing mainly on Road Accident Fund claims and insurance related matters.
Rakeeba is married to Camille, who also obtained his LLB and practices
as a compliance officer in the insurance industry.
Rakeeba and Camille have a baby daughter, Safiyya.
