Born and bred in Port Elizabeth, Liesl went on to graduate from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) in 1998.
After completion of her articles, Liesl joined Watson Tucker Inc (later renamed to Lee Strydom Fourie Inc) in 2001 where she was employed as a professional assistant. In 2004 Liesl was appointed as director where she managed the litigation and recoveries divisions.
Liesl is an active member of the BWA (Businesswomen’s Association) and presents training and seminars on relevant developments in the law that may be of interest. She has also acted as facilitator for LEAD (a division of the Law Society of South Africa) in their Practice Management Training courses.
Liesl is engaged to Steve, a quantity surveyor with his own business and is in the process of adopting Cara, a very inquisitive six year old, who along with their two dogs, cat and two birds (“the zoo”) keep Liesl occupied in her free time.
