Shilu originally hails from Limpopo Province was born at Giyani Town, raised at Malamulele Town and matriculated in Pretoria.
After matric, she enrolled for an LLB degree at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and obtained her degree in 2009. From first year until her final year of studies at the University, Shiluva did voluntary work at two law firms: Pillay Thessigan Attorneys in Pretoria and Baloyi Rikhotso Attorneys in Limpopo.
At the NMMU, she was a member of the University’s Law Society and the female developmental society called the Provocative Lady.
Shilu is serving her articles under the leadership of Hennie Van Eck, Director in our Litigation Division.
